Vibrant is an independent production company launched in Spring 2023 by Mob Dar and Ish Kalia.

 

Mob is the former Head of New Comedy at the BBC, Head of Development at Baby Cow Productions and a Commissioner at BBC Entertainment. He also held significant roles at Tiger Aspect and Talkback.

Mob served as Creative Director for comedian Harry Hill's production company Nit. He devised and Series Edited Alien Fun Capsule (ITV) and was Executive Producer of the hidden camera family show Off Their Rockers (ITV), receiving an RTS Craft nomination. With 25 years of experience, Mob's accolades include a British Comedy Award and Rose D'Or.

Ish has 15 years of industry experience, notably playing a pivotal role in the success of the series A League of Their Own (SKY). He was equally instrumental in developing and growing the hit spin-off global travel series A League of Their Own: The Road Trip, starring James Corden, Andrew Flintoff, Romesh Ranganathan, Jamie Redknapp and Jack Whitehall.

His career began on ambitious large-scale productions, including Big Brother (C4), Fame Academy (BBC) and Soccer Aid (ITV). He later produced the (C4) documentary How Video Games Changed The World with Charlie Brooker. He was the Series Editor of the movie show There’s Something About Movies (SKY), hosted by Alan Carr.

Ish is a BAFTA and TRIC award winner, receiving NTA, RTS, Broadcast and Rose D'Or nominations.
